Glory Johnson Welcomes Twin Daughters

A Slam Dunk Off the Court

Glory Johnson, the 25-year-old WNBA forward, has welcomed new twin daughters.

The newborns opened their eyes after their premature birth last week. Johnson, a two-time All-Star, is now a mother of three. She also has a 2-year-old daughter, Ava.

The twins were born at 27 weeks gestation and weighed just over 2 pounds each. They are currently in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) but are expected to make a full recovery.

Johnson has been documenting her pregnancy and the twins' birth on social media. She has shared photos of the newborns and updates on their progress.

In a recent post, Johnson wrote, "I'm so grateful for these little miracles. They are my everything." Johnson's WNBA team, the Dallas Wings, has been supportive of her during her pregnancy and after the twins' birth.

The team released a statement saying, "We are thrilled for Glory and her family on the birth of her twin daughters. We wish them all the best as they adjust to this new chapter in their lives." Johnson is expected to return to the Wings for the 2019 season. She is one of the most promising young players in the WNBA and is expected to have a major impact on the team.
